A form study that explores how the ways surfaces meet imply how to interact with the product.
Materials: beech wood, oil

Process
I started off by playing with different curves and then sketched out what they would look like in 3D
I began to observe what those shapes would feel in the hand, and also paid attention to how I held a spatula when cooking
I then translated that through some foam models
I made sure the curves of the spatula aligned with the natural curves of my hand
Trying the spatula out – it's not bad!
