Form 4 Finish Kit Rinse Basket:
Handle

Design Engineer: Jason Livingston

Basket used for rinsing fresh resin prints with IPA. Agitates and transfers parts from one bucket to another and rests on the edge of rinse bucket to allow parts to dry.

Why?

With the Form 4's increase in build volume the original Finish Kit is too small to work with. A newly updated Rinse Bucket and Basket are needed.

Criteria:
•  Replicate Form 3's Finish Kit Basket features
•  Can contain From 4's max build volume
•  Handle is minimal and doesn't impede access for rinsing a build platform

Designing for Manufacturing

Designed for a 2-part injection mold with a 3º draft, making sure parting lines were set away from touchpoints and visible areas. It was then sent to a design engineer to make final changes.

Packing Everything Up

Everything fits snuggly in the bucket as the print sits, preventing unecessary IPA fumes in the air
